As I talk about in other videos, having some mud for the horse to walk in will help hooves not dry out and become brittle. Too much of anything is not good, less is more in horses. Adding oils and moisture conditioning may help in moderation but too often they are used too much and they do more damage than doing nothing. Knowing and understanding this is all aspects of horsemanship will help you help your horse be a happy and healthy horse.
