Cancer Research UK supporters have come up with an innovative way for horse lovers to enjoy racing and support charity at the same time. Get all the privileges of being a race horse owner by buying a share in the Cancer Research UK horse, Brave Jack. Details below:
Horses for Causes is an innovative racehorse ownership scheme which offers shares in Brave Jack, a three year old gelding named after Jack McGrath, one of Cancer Research UK’s Little Stars.
A substantial donation from each share purchased and a percentage of the prize money won by Brave Jack is donated to Cancer Research UK.

On Saturday 6 January 2007, Brave Jack made his racing debut at Lingfield Park Racecourse, cheered on by Little Star Jack and his family. It was a promising debut, and it is hoped that he will run his second race on the 24th January, again at Lingfield Park. Why not come along and cheer him on! Brave Jack is by Royal Applause out of Zaynah. This good-looking gelding, made his racecourse debut on the all-weather at Lingfield in January, showing inexperience but loads of potential. He is trained by John Best from his yard in Hucking, Kent. Just one 12.5% share in Brave Jack remains. The all-inclusive fee of £2,500 covers all expenses until 31 July 2007. Associate membership, including a 1% share in all three H4C horses, is available for the fee of £650 until 31 July 2007.
