A lot of people have asked me for a video like this so I thought I would quickly upload this, first two clips are in 2007 when I first started teaching her how to jump, and the last clips are the most recent of Lady training at home. The change in this horse in my eyes is my biggest achievement, she has tested my patience, my will power, strength and determination to the max, but I have never doubted her, I always knew she was special. I hope this inspires people that you don’t need to go out and buy a 20 grand horse to be successful, if you make a horse your own and gain its trust, then both of your futures will be bright. When I bought her she was a complete nightmare, she is far from perfect now but 5 years ago I would never have dreamed of even owning a horse like Lady, she is a one off, and has such a big heart, I am so excited to see May’s future, imagining her in 4 years time is quite exciting! Lady is a complicated horse, not easy to ride, but gives everything she’s got, and she owes me nothing, but if I can get her over the napping thing I would love her to reach her full potential 🙂 Enjoy x
