Sydney CDI 2011 – Day One

The first day of the 2011 Sydney CDI was wet and cold but one thing for sure the competition was HOT! We take a look at the Needs for Steeds FEI Prix St George where in form young rider Megan Bryant takes out first place in a very strong field. The young horses in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia’s NSW Young Horse Championships are just stunning, showing a great future for our dressage. The Grand Prix (supported by The Australian Institute of Sport) is the largest and strongest field ever seen in Australia. The much anticipated return of Brett Parbery and Rachael Sanna (who is riding with a bulging disc in her back), riding their WEG mounts, proves no disappointment as they put stunning tests together to take first and second place respectively and both score over 70%!
