The Showjumping World Number 1 rider Scott Brash went head-to-head with the World Number 2 rider Ludger Beerbaum in the jump-off for the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in London on Saturday 16 August 2014.
Watch the two riders battle it out against the clock at Horse Guards Parade Ground, where the Scotsman powered round to claim the €148,500 top prize.
Of his horse, Hello Sanctos, Scott said afterwards “This sort of horse doesn’t come around too often. It’s all down to him that I’m standing here today”.
Jan Tops, president of the LGCT, complimented the 28-year-old British rider, saying: “Scott knows he can go fast, but he stays very cool with it”.
